An error occurred while saving the comment David L Carlson commentedThose .log files are a part of the backup strategy as they track changes since the previous backup. They should be disappearing on the same schedule that you set for the backup files. Since all those files have longer filenames than your data file, they should usually be further down the list than your data file

Continuing to type would refresh that list. When the list is displayed the up and down arrows would navigate that list.

An error occurred while saving the comment David L Carlson commentedI don't know about you, but in my neighborhood every city has a different sales tax rate schedule that applies differently to, say liquor, food, gasoline and labor. The tables change frequently as "ins" are voted out and replaced by new "ins"

This limitation is imposed by your financial institution, not by GnuCash. Granted, it is hard to tell because there is no column to show destination account, but I have already posted a bug report covering that problem. I use multiple accounts in one file every month from the one bank that will do it.
