The point of a widget is having glanceable information. If it is obscured, then what's the point? -

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminNgewi Fet (Admin, GnuCash) commentedI see your point.
But that means multiple states for accounts. One hidden, one closed (displayed but inactive), normal accounts etc etc.
Maybe it would be better to just have them all hidden, with the possibility to view hidden accounts. But this would add also clutter to the workflow so we will have to see if it is worth it.
An error occurred while saving the comment AdminNgewi Fet (Admin, GnuCash) commentedWe could make this happen, so we will consider it.
But I'm curious, what do you mean by an account that has been emptied, but still includes transactions? -

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminNgewi Fet (Admin, GnuCash) commentedEvery account must have a type in GnuCash.
Do you have an account in your .gnucash file which has no type at all?
you check your .gnucash file and tell me if there is an account in it with a type NONE.
This would help me know if this error is coming from somewhere else.An error occurred while saving the comment AdminNgewi Fet (Admin, GnuCash) commentedThanks for reporting this. We will look into fixing it

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminNgewi Fet (Admin, GnuCash) commentedWhen importing accounts, you can import from anywhere. If you have a file provide (e.g. OI File Manager), you should be able to select your file from your SD card.
GnuCash Android does not do auto-sync for you though. You will need to import it yourself.

When you create a transaction, it automatically has currency of the account in which you create the transaction.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminNgewi Fet (Admin, GnuCash) commentedIt is currently possible to schedule backups to prevent data loss.
But we also plan some updates to backup/restore in the direction you mention.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminNgewi Fet (Admin, GnuCash) commentedDisplaying the account name without the full parent hierarchy can be confusing because of accounts with similar names
Hey,
we can definitely consider adding a "Select all" button for selecting all transactions.
About your second point, where will the "calculated delta" come from?
If I understand right, you would need to enter an amount somewhere, then this amount will be subtracted from the current account balance and then the difference will be put in the transaction amount field?
