Enable connection to remote mysql database as backend
Allow connection to remote mysql server back end to retrieve past transactions and allow user to make new ones. This would eliminate need for any sync workflow between mobile and desktop.
1 voteThis would require building a service to communicate between the app and the MySQL backend. We have neither the resources, nor plans to do this at the moment, sorry.

OCR for image captured documents
Assuming image capture to associate images with transactions is implimented, it would be nice to have gnucash capable of reading things off the documents.
A user could draw a bounding box around an item of interest on the supporting image, gnucash would attempt to convert the selected region of the image to numbers or text.
1 voteSorry, but we have no plans to implement this feature

Beta is intalled. Want to revert to stable
I don't see a way to do so.
1 voteYou cannot revert back. You can only upgrade to the final released stable version. And then unsubscribe from the beta program

import QIF OFX CSV format
Being able to import data from bank would save so much time.
1 voteI’m sorry, but we have no plans to implement import for QIF, OFX and CSV.
These formats all have their different limitations with double-entry accounting which is the main focus for GnuCash Android -

We do not have plans to support the iPhone at this time, sorry. The app is Android only.

Please, insert "Cost Centre" allocation.
Grazie, cordiali saluti.
1 voteI’m sorry, but we do not have plans to implement cost centre functionality in the app.
Thanks for the feedback though. -

I’m sorry, but at the time we only plan to support ISO 4217 currencies.

Sorry, but we have no plans to implement this. Synchronization is only possible through import/export of transactions.

Deleting all transactions is possible through “Settings → Transactions → Delete All”. But be careful, this will delete ALL transactions in your database.
No, it is not possible select multiple transactions to delete at the moment.

Please. Export transactions between accounts with different currencies to QIF.
Even excluding the exchange rate if it is not supported by the QIF format. So we can import the QIF in GnuCash Desktop.
2 votesThe app already exports a separate QIF file for each currency. You can import those separately into the desktop

Sorry, but we do not think this is a right fit at the moment. You can set the default transfer account for each account. Or use transaction templates.

Hi,
Just like @miamimusicman said, you can enter an opening balance like a transaction and transfer it to Equity:Opening Balances

Sorry, but we have no plans to add this.
Transactions are only viewable within their accounts.

Re-Enable the account drop down on the transaction page
In the last version, you had the current account on top and could quickly change it. I used a widget for my most used account but loved the possibility to quickly change to other accounts, which is no longer possible directly.
2 votesThanks for the clarification of the post. I have chnaged the tag from completed to declined.
We do not intend to implement this, as it can lead to quite a mess when entering transactions.
Switching the account in the dropdown menu, change the transfer account and then the split dialog. Believe me, I tried it out.I think the implementation as-is is the best balance to be had for now.

Option to allow old style of entering numbers (fixed decimal)
The Version before you could type 2+9+9 to enter 2.99€, now it is 2+,+9+9. It would be nice if the old style was available at least optionally
1 voteI’m sorry, but we have no plans to bring that back at the moment.
The current implementation allows GnuCash Android to support a wide range of currencies with varying number os decimal places -

The currency rates change with time, so we only use the rate with which the user entered the transaction. We will not automatically convert currencies for you as that could lead to discrepancies in bookkeeping.

Import data from Kmymoney
There are no tool available to imort data from kmymoney. so, migration from kmymoney is difficult when we have huge data.

I’m sorry, but this is not possible at the moment due to technical incompatibilities.
But we are constantly evaluating how to improve the workflow between the desktop and the app!
Cheers,
