Sorry, but we do not think this is a right fit at the moment. You can set the default transfer account for each account. Or use transaction templates.

    I have not found how "set the default transfer account for each account" and no "transaction templates".

    Neither have I, but I would find this useful. Please tell me howto!
    GnuCash 2.6.6 on Ubuntu

    In the "Edit account" page, there is an option to set the default transfer account.
    This setting also propagates to the account's children

    How?
    I have not found how "set the default transfer account for each account" and no "transaction templates".

    The one I found was transaction scheduling.
