It's important to reduce friction as much as possible when it comes to keeping track of expenses. I tried GnuCash a couple of years ago but eventually give up because it's too much effort to always use one specific device to enter the expense. I resorted back to Google Sheet. I want to give GnuCash another try given that I have zero trust in Google. Ledger + Emacs can automatically encrypt the data file using GPG. Please consider this feature ask.
