Resizing columns should follow common standards
When you want to change the width of columns, you will discover GNUCashs unusual approach: When dragging a middle columns supposedly wider, the extra space gets allocated to the last column instead.
GNUCash should follow th standards used e.g. in EXCEL or CALC.

commentedI think this is a function of the GTK package that GnuCash uses, but in any case the column sizing is very buggy. Furthermore, there is no way that I have found to copy the column settings from one account to another (which would also allow a user to recover from a messed up setting in one account register).

commentedAmen to this! Because of the counter-intuitive column-resizing used in GnuCash, I have inadvertently resized a column to a width of 1 and can't find any way to recover it. What a PITA!
