    I have programmed in about a dozen languages in the last 30 years, so the computer programming ideas are not new to me. I've never used Lisp or any of its variants (like Scheme)
    I'm sure the concept is simple conceptually,
    create a new item in the list used to print the "rows"
    accumulate the credit and debit amounts each time a row is created
    place in the "to print" queue

    I'm just trying to figure out how to do this

    I am trying to do that myself, so that I can send a report to my customer showing what her running balance is day after day. I am trying to learn Scheme to do this, but help would be appreciated
