  1. there should be a guide for this application, it is much more detailed than other programs for this purpose but it lacks a guide for users.

    I dont understand how accounting works, what is double entry and so on. when I write an expense it should immediately be taken out from my income or cash money. however I found it difficult to arrange on another phone. also, I dont know what a placeholder account is. there should be a blue link so that when I click it a pop-up can tell me what it is. you should take the user around the program and explain. you can put a youtube link at least.

    Great app, I wont go bqck to other apps after this, this app…

  3. Get GnuCash on F-Droid

    F-Droid is the hub for open source Android apps. If it is place on there, then it is much more convenient for people to update GnuCash Android if they do not have access to the Play Store

    since the last update the exported file is automatically zipped. please make this optional, as now I have to unzip the file before I can import it.

  13. same database required for mobile & desktop its very cumbersome activity to export import check data which was wasting lots of time

    one database which will be used for mobile and desktop
    and backup and logs should create under sub folder of main database it is very irritating when we see so many files in database folder

  16. Import/export bugs

    Often when importing my gnucash file, it reports an error "foreign key constraint violation". Sometimes not. It helps to clear the app data and trying it then. Sometimes it crashes when importing.
    When exporting in the all time mode, it reports "invalid denominator 1000000" error and the export fails.

  17. Add the option to use default number I put instead of the custom calculator one

    So I like the idea of the calculator keyboard that you guys made but I'd rather just use the normal keyboard set to number input. Thanks

  18. Android Wear support. Create small app for Android watches that allows to enter expenses on-the-go.

    Instead of turning on phone and enter expenses using widget, do it on you wrist. It is faster and more convenient. A good example of such integration with Android Wear is Wallet app by BudgetBakers.
