Target: Foreign Business Travel Reporting
Suggestion: Add an "other account amount" check-box to the display tab in the transaction report settings. This provides a column in which amounts from foreign cash accounts are displayed directly without recalculation, and includes 3 letter or currency symbol with the amount.
For International Business Travelers.
Foreign business expense reports need to include:
The foreign cost, exchange rate, and local currency equivalent, and the submitted receipts need to match amounts reported.
This in turn displays an additional column displaying actual amounts reported from foreign currency accounts ( with the 3 letter currency / symbol
Currently, there is no option to filter actual foreign amounts spent accurately.
Why Needed: Currently the option isn't available.
If you use the "common currency" check mark to filter foreign costs:
1) It recalculates the amount from the "exchange rate" backwards, which then doesn't match up with the actual amounts spent.
2) It converts all amounts one of the foreign currencies, so isn't helpful when more than one foreign currency is being reported.
