Support Mac OS High Sierra
Although Mac OS High Sierra is not related yet, this Mac OS release is available for members of the Apple Beta Software Program.
However this Mac OS release is currently not supported by GnuCash: GnuCash crashes when started.
That’s not a feature request and this is not the place for bug reports or support requests. This matter has already been discussed on the GnuCash user list, where you’ll find a work-around.

The "user list" means gnucash-user@gnucash.org. You can subscribe at https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user.
For the record, GnuCash 2.6.18 and later works fine on MacOS High Sierra. Earlier versions have a version conflict with /usr/lib/libz.1.dylib that can be resolved by copying that library into Gnucash.app/Contents/Resources/lib.

The GnuCash user list - how might one find such a useful sounding place? (For I too have stupidly installed High Sierra.)
