Support XBRL standards (SBR)
Support the new XBRL digital format standard.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XBRL
XBRL is widely used, and even mandatory now a days by the authorities and government. In The Netherlands for example they force you to use SBR (Standard Business Reporting). SBR is also based up-on the XBRL.

Standarizion gets more and more important. If GnuCash does not agree with focusing on digital standards, I do not see a good future.
Kind regards,

This is a list of SBR capable software (Australian Tax Office site). Sad to say I need this, but don't really understand the requirements of developing such a thing not do I know what they are after. But I thought this at least would give some pointers to what OP is after?

XBRL is required for all financial reports submitted to the SEC in the US and similar agencies in many other countries. The WIKI link provided by the OP lists several major economies with XBRL reporting requirements. I found GnuCash while looking at accounting software listed on that page, thinking it supported XBRL. most businesses probably want XBRL report generation. I want XBRL report consumption into a database for later analysis.

What exactly are you asking for? Reports? Exports? Imports?
I imagine by "they force you to use SBR", you mean that some Dutch governmental agency requires that some financial entities must file reports formatted in SBR, a derivative of XBRL. If that's right, what sort of entities and what reports?
