Copy budget value into all budget periods
When creating a yearly budget with 12 periods it is frequently the case that a specific account will always have a standard amount budgeted.
I.e. I always want to budget £20 per month for Auto:Parking.
It would simplify buget creation if there was an option to "populate forward" into all future buget periods either the value from the currently selected period or the value entered into a dialogue box.

I would agree and vote for at least an option to take a value entered for a period and populate it for all periods. Really great options would be
(i) to spread an amount over all periods
(ii) take an amount and enter forward with a said %tage or amount inc. / decrease -

Let's keep the implementation simple. It would be a great time saver even in its simple forms and anything fancy is only needed by a few.
Option 1: Add an extra column: Budget for all periods. All other budeting periods give only the delta to the main budget, zero by default.
Option 2: Add a report option, a checkbox "Copy first budgeting periods budgets to all budgeting periods.", doing just that.
Option 3: Add buttons or context menu items: "Copy budget values." and "Past budget values". The action should apply to all accounts with a budget.

I've also been thinking about this for a while now. If one was to implement something like this it might make sense to also have an option to add (instead of set) an amount to each period in a budget. A less important nicety might be to specify an amount and have it spread evenly over each budget period.
